Dior Rosy Glow Awakening Blush

Look at it. Look at it. If you don't already love it, you have problems. And bad hair.

(Sorry, I didn't mean it - I just watched Anchorman. I'm sure your hair is lovely.)

But honestly. It's just so pretty. I've been wanting this blush for a while, and finally decided to purchase it online. I received it yesterday and I wanted to write a blog post about it right after trying, but it was late and I had to go wash my face again. I don't know why I thought it was a good idea to put on a face full of makeup just to see how the blush looked, but I couldn't resist. Anyway, as a result, I've been itching to get home and write this all day while at work. I even contemplated pretending to die at my desk, but I wasn't sure how well that would go down. Also, I didn't want to risk being buried alive.

But I digress. (It's a very bad habit of mine. See? Here I go again) Before I go onto another mini rant, let's see some more pictures, shall we?

(Don't blame me for these terrible shots - especially the last one. The case is reflective and bloody impossible to take photos of. And don't even get me started on the mirror inside.)

This is the first product I've bought that comes with a velvet pouch! VELVET! POUCH!
It's probably the most exciting thing to happen to me this year. I wish I was kidding.

Here's the colour close up. See the little sparkles?! And how vivid the colour is?! Don't you want to just rub it all over your face?! (Pro tip: don't do that.) Oh, and I don't want to brag, but I wore this blush to work today and got several compliments. And not just from the creepy guy who works in the factory, who I'm pretty sure doesn't know my name but never fails to wink at me every time I walk past. Help.

Now if you will avert your attention to this next picture, I've done four swatches ranging from barely any on the brush, to several applications of it.

Nice, huh? The first one is almost a peachy, barely-there nude pink, while the last one is a hot fuchsia. Personally my favourite is the second swatch, and is how I wore it today. It's so pretty and girly, I feel guilty in advance because I just know I'm going to neglect all my other blushes.

So that's it for now, I hope you liked this review - I think I'm going to do a makeup tutorial/look using this when I have time.

Do you have this blush? What do you think of it?
